dual vs single core opteron 100's

the calculations will be faster but not the response. The second core 
will handle mouse and keyboard while the first does the computation.

A average user will always believe a dual 1 GHz machine is faster than a 
single CPU 3 GHz machine as long as there is no complex computation.
