I can´t install the FreeBSD in may notebook

Hi, I have a HP COMPAC Presario R3000 AMD64 and I can´t install the FreeBSD
in it. When I place disk 1, as much for models amd64 when for i386, at the
moment to load kernel, the machine stops and it auto turn off. I would like
to know if it exists a solution for this problem.
