AMD64 Faster?

You "incredibly" faster is more than likely due to a clean
install as 64bit vs 32bit for the base OS makes very little
difference and is actually slower in some parts.
The speed of 64bit vs 32bit depends on the application
used. Their are no hard and fast rules
