Ethernet address ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff

Hello list,

I have Averatek 6200 notebook (network card SiS 900)
I've got this message from dmesg - Ethernet address
ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff
after this dhcp client did not pick up neither
gateway, nor dns servers, but it did receive its ip
address and subnet mask
I can ping other boxes on my network but this is all I
can do.
Everything else works fine for the fresh install.

How to fix my network card?
Any suggestions?
