I know, it's the infamous Marvell chips that require a signed NDA to get
specifications. I have have asked Supermicro for support but since they
too are under NDA they can't do anything and just refers me to the
Marvell legal dept.
Just avoid Marvell chips if you are going to run anything else than
Windows. It's obvious that Marvell don't want to sell to the huge BSD
and Linux server market, so why should we put any effort into supporting
their products for free?
We don't sell the products that have these chips (not even to Windows
customers), this is to teach SM to not use them :-)
