I compiled mysql-client-4.0.18_1 and mysql-server-4.0.18_1 on my
Athlon64 box:
# file `which mysql`
/usr/local/bin/mysql: ELF 64-bit LSB executable, AMD x86-64, version 1 (FreeBSD), for FreeBSD 5.0.2, dynamically linked (uses shared libs), stripped
It works fine :-)
