I'm sorry, but I have rebuilt everything on this machine from i386 to
amd64 so I do not have the older binaries to show the same dependency.
Unless something odd happened between the following:
1) working i386.
2) build world build/install kernel with a target arch amd64
3) cp ld-elf.so.1 to ld-elf32.so.1, reboot, install world
4) portupgrade -af
then the dependencies should be identical between i386 and amd64.

There is no nss_ldap problem. nss_ldap worked perfectly on i386. It
causes issues on amd64 because of a problem in threads.

It worked on i386. None of the cases mentioned before unload the thread
library until an atexit.

As far as I know, this works. At least for Linux and it should for
FreeBSD. The ordering doesn't matter because the overloaded routines
are actually weak references in libc and strong references in pthread.
So pthread symbols win.

So I think we agree that thread-safe libraries should not link with
-lpthread if they do not call thread-specific routines.
