New AMD64 owner

What about the ACPI issues?  I emailed about those a few days ago, and I
have seen other questions, too.  Are these a real problem, or am I too
concerned?

SATA seems to be the primary source of woe on this list right now. Check the
archives a little. For me, with a consumer-grade asus k8v, everything just
worked.
