Openoffice on amd64... possible?

Hi.

I have scoured newsgroups and the web, and have yet to come across any
mention of openoffice & amd64. Has anyone managed to get this running,
or is this somewhere in the future?

By the way, thanks for the kind and helpful responses I have had on my
recent posts to this newsgroup. Sincerely appreciated, and my new system
is now humming along thanks to your help.
