All seem to be suffering from the same issue, and now myself as well.

5.3-RELEASE just halts on install.  My install output matches everyone 
elses.  I'm running a PWS 600au with SRM 7.2-1 installed.

I did however manage to get this working if moved my SCSI card to a 
64-bit slot and yanked out all other cards.  This isn't a problem for me 
since I only use the console or SSH into the box anyway, but it might be 
a problem for others.
