netbooting an install kernel

I've not tried using the 4.x stuff, but its probably just to stick with
5.2.1 if we could get a net-bootable install kernel.  There is a 
device.hints
file, but I'm not sure that it does any good.  Anyway, let me know where
I could grab one, that would be great.
