No, that would be overly radical.
If TGA causes problems we should de-orbit TGA from the installkernel.
I think that a normal VGA card should not cause any problems.
Actually, I am gonna try this now... stay tuned (my systems normally
run from serial consoles, and that is how I tested the ISOs before
uploading).
