The X system bundled with RedHat 7.2 works on the 1200 out of the box.
Examination of the XF86Config file from the RedHat implementation
suggest X calls some custom loadable objects that are not part of the
standard X distribution. If these objects can be incorporated in the
standard X tree they could solve the as1200 X problem.
