We have another AlphaPC164lx runnnig FreeBSD 4.3 and XFree86 3.3.6 which
is running XFree86 without problems.
In that machine we can found two points in dmesg:
...
cia0: Pyxis, pass 1
cia0: extended capabilities: 111<WLEN,MWEN,BWEN>
...
pci0: <Matrox MGA Millennium II 2164W graphics accelerator> at 6.0 irq 0
...
Using the machine which is installed FBSD 5.1 we have found different
lines in dmesg: (we can't run XFree 4 with mga driver)
cia0: <2117x Core Logic chipset>
cia0: Pyxis, pass 1
cia0: extended capabilities: 1<BWEN>
...
pci0: <display, VGA> at device 9.0 (no driver attached)
Are there any problem with FBSD 5.1 on alpha? Or have we got a
hardware/setup problem? What does mean "111<WLEN,MWEN,BWEN>" and cia0?
Paulo.
