Computer hangs on reboot

I have a machine at work that has a PS/2 port, but it shows up as a USB 
keyboard to the OS, and the registers for the PS/2 keyboard don't work, so 
just because it's a physical PS/2 port doesn't mean it shows up that way to 
the OS.
