Hi,

Please take a look at http://acpi.sourceforge.net/dsdt/view.php?id=639,
download the DSDT, compile and install it and try again... if works for
me.

Apply these diff's against the files located
in /usr/src/sys/dev/sound/pcm/, use snd_ich and it should work. I use
7.0-CURRENT for this and I don't know if it will work with 6.1 - try
it :-). They aren't perfect, but will work for us... it would be nice if
somebody could take a look on this and eventually commit it to -CURRENT.
