Hi! Please try to use conventional git commit messages. Here I thought gcc
itself was being updated -- by someone other than Gerald, so it must be really
special -- but it's a different gcc. A really special gcc, but not the one I
expected from the commit message.
Conventional git commit messages have been mentioned a few times on this list
recently; there's a commit template which you can find elsewhere, but in human
terms:
<category>/<portname>: <what>
<blank line>
<why>
The first line (and following blank line) are the most conventional, and will
help communicate the purpose of the commit to readers whether they use email,
qgit, gitk, cgit, or git on the command-line.
[[ All that said, I see this commit may have come from a phab review, which
probably doesn't help out with conventional commit messages at all. ]]
