This mistake was the result of a final commit --amend . after a failed
push. An author from some previous commit suddenly appeared as part of
the commit log - I have no idea why this wrong author had been assumed
by git. I had only looked at the issue that had blocked the commit and
did not note than another file had been added to the commit scope.
Thanks for reporting, the superfluous file has been removed.
