How about replacing the dot with another character?
Like, someone at here.com would become someone at here*com.
The harvesters would likely catch up to it as well
but it would take them some time. Or for a little
more confusion add a fake suffix or prefix seperated
by a dot, like: someone at here*com.com or someone at xxx.here*com.
