So, with the benefit of easing merging for committers, we end up with
two separate files for the end users (and sysadmins) - one "example
file" and one "tru config file". IMHO this sounds like complicating
matters.
IMHO this whole problem and the discussion about it is a bit overkill.
Why not just keep it as it is? What is so fundamentally broken with the
current situation that we need important, POLA-breaking fixes?
