  Add support for splitting at gigabyte boundaries. [1]
  
  Also make both lowercase and uppercase suffix letters work
  as byte-count suffixes, i.e. the following two commands are
  equivalent now:
  
      % split -b 4m foo
      % split -b 4M foo
