: : FreeBSD src repository
: :
: : Modified files:
: : sys/kern kern_mbuf.c
: : Log:
: : Update copyright, remove "all rights reserved" (since they are not
: : all reserved, as the lisence makes clear), and strike the third clause
: : (now this is a 2-clause liberal BSDL as are the rest of files I hold
: : copyright over).
:
: Part of this is incorrect. "All Rights Reserved." is the correct
: thing to add, as it invokes certain tready language. You reserve all
: your rights first, and then grant permission based on that.
s/tready/treaty/g. Many IP lawyers recommend that you retain it, even
though its effect is starting to become somewhat limited.
http://www.templetons.com/brad/copymyths.html
talks about these things. However, it seems to be extremely hard to
search the web for answers because nearly every web page has "All
Rights Reserved." listed on them.
