There is a benefit from the new generation of devices that are coming 
out for only PCI-Express and have features and performance that will not
be matched in their PCI-X counterparts.  While it's always fun for
FreeBSD to be chronically behind the curve in device support, I'd like
to experiment with breaking that feature and seeing if anyone has a
heart attack when their bleeding edge NIC or storage card works the day
that they buy it, instead of months/years later.
