: Why did you do this? By default, [x]emacs only recognizes .[0-8] as
: nroff. Having this marker here ensures that [x]emacs starts up in
: nroff mode and doesn't hurt anything.
I was wondering about that myself. I always ADD it to the .9 man
pages.
