Just got informed by scottl this is OK to stay, so I won't back it out.

I'm going to -CURRENT on my laptop now (as this is what I'm running right
at this moment - built on kimchi and bootstrapped via read-only NFS mount
to force an upgrade) -- more work to come -- so will take the plunge now.

Once again kudos to jhb and njl for all the recent interrupt and ACPI work.
