  lightweight C library that can parse John Gruber's [markdown]
  (http://daringfireball.net/projects/markdown/) format and convert
  it into several formats and can be easily extended.
  
  It also provides two usage examples:
  - lace: markdown to xhtml conversion.
  - kilt: markdown to manpage conversion.
