This is good and well, but still there *are* changes which are trivial (and 
obviously correct) enough to be just done and thus must be possible to make.

And if they *are* trivial and obviously correct (errors in judgement and the 
ensuing aftermath will happen occasionaly anyway) and port-maintainers still 
take offense to them, they are simply not made out to be port-maintainers (or 
part of any collaborative software development effort).
