My feeling is that these lines are small contribution of recognition of
the efforts of the original port creater. After all, besides a line in
contributors.sgml he gets nothing else :)

So, I'd rather keep them there for sentimantal reasons :)

As for the repocopy, I guess new owner has all the rights to put his name
there :)
