There are plenty of webservers that are faster than Apache... the problem
is, they are not Apache!
I'm interested in Apache performance because it's the most common
webserver out there, and is what most FreeBSD servers run. So, any
increase in Apache performance benefits a large number of people. Anyway,
I suspect that thttpd performs as well or better than AppWeb, so I'm not
too interested in taking a look at it.
