That's a workaround for the port bug, not a solution. For example,
there will be no way to build a CPU-optimized cross-compiler binary.
I'm getting the impression that you're trying to avoid fixing the
problem now that it's been demonstrated that it's your responsibility.
Earlier in the thread you were very quick to point the finger at
bsd.cpu.mk and demand that it be fixed or removed by the person who
introduced the problem. Now that we've established that the bug is in
your port, specifically in the misuse of the host CFLAGS when running
the cross-compiler binary, it's time to step up to your
responsibilities as a port maintainer and fix it.
