aic7902 for 2.4.20-13.7smp (on RH7.2)

Hello all,

Offlate I faced some problems with Redhat 7.2 with
upgraded kernel 2.4.20-13.7smp with U320 Adaptec SCSI
controller (3920W - 7902). The rpms for 7.2 does not
include this kernel yet. So had to compile the from
the source. Even after compiling from the source one
harddisk was set offline (the first harddisk, always).
The disk works fine with older (default) kernel -
2.4.7-10.

Also this problem seems to be specific to RAIDed
partitions. Anyways, now the problem seems be fixed if
we use the following while compiling the kernel:

1) SMP support - Yes
2) SCSI Support - Module
3) AIC7XXX support - No
4) AIC79XX support - Module
5) Older AIC7XXX support - No
6) RAID - Yes
7) RAID 1 - Module


But now the problem is, the first disk is operating at
160Mbps while other three are operating at 320MBps. I
am not able to understand why this is happening so.
With the default kernel all is fine!
Any suggestions? find the dump from
/proc/scsi/aic7xxx/1 below.
