The lilo.conf line should be something like:

	append = "aic7xxx=verbose"

I've had some problems booting with it in the global section, so you
might want to put it under just one image.

Try the 'dmesg' command, should give you the output. Also, it should be
in the kern.log, I believe.

I see no option like that for the aic7xxx dirver. The only document I
have around is the README.aic7xxx file in the source tree under
drivers/scsi. 

You might try Ledford's web page, http://people.redhat.com/dledford/

Best of luck. I never did get the driver to work correctly, even after
three months of trying.
