"Parity error during Data-In phase"

My experience with a parity error during data-in phase turned out to be a
termination problem. On the narrow SCSI side, setting a CD drive--the last
device on the chain--as terminated was not sufficient. I had to move it
one spot down the cable and put an active terminator on the end of the cable.

I have an aic7895. I didn't get all the errors you got, but they were
quite varied and impressive.
