Hi all,

I am a Linux user, I have a Sony 926S CDR and a pioneer CDrom on the same
50-pin scsi channel. They used to work well with the Linux 2.0.x channel.
However, when I upgraded to 2.1.x or 2.2.0 pre X, the driver give me the
following error:

(scsi0:0:6:0) Synchronus at 10.0 Mbyte/sec, offset 15
(scsi0:0:6:0) No Active SCB for reconnecting target - Issuing BUS DEVICE
RESET.
(scsi0:0:6:0) SAVED_TCL=0x60, ARG_1=0xff, SEQADDR=0xfc
.
.
.

It keep repeating this message infinately...the only way to get around
this is to disable the "Enable Disconnection" for scsi id 6 in the 2940
Bios...but that lead to error when I burn CD since it need to disconnect
during finalize phase...Is there a "proper" way to fix that? Why it just
happen on the newer kernel but not 2.0.x ?? I really need some help on
that and I hope someone can let me know what is going on here....Thanks in
advance..
