Call Adaptec's Technical Document Department at 1-800-934-2766.

You'll need to talk to the Adaptec Developer Relations department.
You'll also need to sign an NDA to get this information. The FreeBSD/Linux
driver doesn't use Adaptec firmware.

In the data book.

If you want to write firmware, you'll also need the aic7770 data book.
I haven't found any documentation for the new instruction format in
the aic7890/91/96/97 yet, but the things I determined vi experimentation
are in the FreeBSD driver header files.
