Oopses in Linux 2.0.31 aic7xxx.o!

Hello!

I'm still experiencing kernel Oopses, even if I use the most conservative
settings when compiling my kernel. I have an Adaptec 2940AU, with a hard
disk (sda), a Zip drive and a CD-ROM (scd0).

For example, I recently got a NULL-pointer-dereference Oops when I
untarred a .tgz file from my Zip drive (sdb1) to my /tmp (sda3).

What can I do about this? This never happened with the old (2.0.30)
driver.
