My only concern is whether it is just the libxfce4util, that needs this --
other pieces (xfce4-wm, xfce4-panel) also have configure look for the same
function. But I don't know, if that matters...

Unfortunately, I can't test right away, because this is my desktop -- and I
cannot afford to restart it during the week.

It makes sense that the proper fix would be applied to configure.ac -- but our
XFCE4-ports don't regenerate the configure currently, do they?
