After testing inside jail + rootful Xwayland:
- gnome-icon-theme better complements default XFCE theme unlike
adwaita-icon-theme-40.1.1_1.
  For example, Home icon is back from GNOMEish beige to XFCE blue and File menu
icons are monochrome instead of GNOMEish multicolor.
- XScreenSaver Blank/Lock still lack icons but downgrading to
adwaita-icon-theme-40.1.1_1 didn't help.
