Microsoft has not maintained xf86-video-intel for a very long time and I don't
expect that it will work well and probably not at all on such a new GPU. I have
the same GPU and it has been working fine on 15-current since mid-January. You
do need to run the drm-61-kmod software. You can either configure X to use
modesetting or simply delete the old intel driver and it will fall through to
modesetting.

N.B. I am not remotely a graphics expert, but this has worked for me.
