You mean like my server board or Heikki's HP microservers? :-) OTOH, once upon a time (years ago), the VESA driver actually worked better = than the MGA driver for me. I forget off-hand at which xorg-server major version change it broke, but the VESA driver now only comes up in "if all else fail= s" 640x480 mode, and the screen is garbled.
