https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=271600 Bug ID: 271600 Summary: X11 dilapidation or many outdated ports Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: x11@FreeBSD.org Reporter: jbeich@FreeBSD.org Many X11 updates are notified via xorg-announce@ and Repology. None of those seems to propagate into ports. This has already led to delays in security updates (e.g., bug 268963 and bug 270485 forced via VuXML). If x11@ team is no longer interested in X11 (unlike DRM, Mesa, Wayland, etc) then MAINTAINER needs to be reset to avoid misleading existing users. https://repology.org/projects/?maintainer=x11%40freebsd.org&inrepo=freebsd&outdated=1 To subscribe: https://lists.x.org/mailman/listinfo/xorg-announce (mail) https://repology.org/maintainer/x11%40freebsd.org/feed-for-repo/freebsd/atom (RSS) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
