Unfortunately no luck with that. Just to be sure, rebuilt and reinstalled ALL
ports and the result is Xorg segfaulting on startup...

Yes, this looks very much like an upstream bug. I didn't report yet, but tried
to find existing reports, because I'd assume Linux to be affected as well, but
couldn't find anything so far. Could one of you who already obtained meaningful
stacktraces do it please?
