drm-devel-kmod 5.5 hangs when loading amdgpu

Just updated to drm-devel-kmod to 5.5.

This is on a ThinkPad X395 with an AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 3500U w/ Radeon Vega 
Mobile Gfx

Updated kernel to main-n247800-e88c3b1b02a

When booting, with kld_list="amdgpu" in /etc/rc.conf it just hangs, 
after displaying "Loading kernel modules:"

If I comment out kld_list, let the machine boot and load the module by 
hand with "kldload amdgpu" it works just fine.
