If you have gdb from ports (packages) installed it will also create a crash= info which is helpful. There's a chapter in the handbook (though I have not read it much recently myself): https://docs.freebsd.org/en/books/developers-handbook/kerneldebug/ In case you are able to reproduce it you may consider setting up an bhyve environment with passthru for the ath device to not panic your base system.
