I have enabled the following to /etc/rc.conf

dumpdev="AUTO"
dumpdir="/var/crash"
savecore_enable="YES"

but ls -la /var/crash
total 10
drwxr-x---  2 root wheel  3 2023-09-19 09:27 ./
drwxr-xr-x 25 root wheel 25 2023-09-30 15:17 ../
-rw-r--r--  1 root wheel  5 2023-09-15 04:17 minfree

No dumps collected...

I could try Main on another laptop (ThinkPad x220) if you think that can help.
