I'll write my *personal* braindump here. A lot of delay comes from the fact that real life afk takes a huge toll on me. Beeing on the road I am greatly enjoying sitting down and working on bits despite the mountain to work on still seeming too big. Now that most drivers + LinuxKPI changes needed for them + surrounding dependencies are out of my queue there's a few things to do with the two first items being the most pressing ones for me: - On one side I would have long loved to have 11n and 11ac bits done and in and I want to push parts of the background work in before 15 ideally. - On the other hand the two main bug reports and requests remain the long-standing sta problem (which I understand very well but haven't had consecutive time to sit down and fix) and suspend/resume improvements. Another next thing I want to do is pull all drivers up to the same level based on the latest Linux release or wireless-testing depding on when it happens. The reason will basically need to do them all together is Linux"KPI" changes will require them to be aligned. Wifi is a (too) fast moving target. More to do (at least for recent and actively maintained drivers) after this is to push local changes and fixes upstream. Bug reports and other problems and newer standards, fixes, security improvements, AP support, other improvements, ..., it's a long and never-ending list I should write down somewhere. Newer drivers, USB support in LinuxKPI especially for Realtek as a start, ... You want to do some of that (even a tiny part) please contact me. And I'll try to contact all of you the next days who are already waiting for one or the other driver to work on. More in few days when I am back home. Lots of health, /bz -- Bjoern A. Zeeb r15:7
