I test on another laptop running Debian sid with wpa 2.10 (more here:
https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/wpa) and there is no problem. But the wireless
card is different too:

% lspci -v |grep Wireless -A5
                                                        @22:45
02:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165 Plus
Bluetooth (rev 99)
        Subsystem: Intel Corporation Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165
        Flags: bus master, fast devsel, latency 0, IRQ 127
        Memory at d1100000 (64-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=8K]
        Capabilities: <access denied>
        Kernel driver in use: iwlwifi
        Kernel modules: iwlwifi

The laptop with ath card (the one I encountered this PR) is not running Linux
so I cannot test.
