man blockdev says:

       --getbsz
           Print the blocksize in bytes. This size does not describe
           device topology. It’s the size used internally by the kernel
           and it may be modified (for example) by filesystem driver on
           mount.

To me it sounds like they just invented it out of thin air.

I don't see anything else actionable here, so I am closing the PR.  I you think
I am wrong, I am open to hear more arguments.
