So no good known version to bisect.

Thinking about my initial statement, 'since 13.1', it's evident that was wrong.
What I think happened at that time it's that we started moving from xeon
e3/e5/e7 to ryzen/epyc. Maybe passthru has never worked fine on AMD :/
