did it. Nice workaround. Thanks.


ifconfig igb0 -lro

did it too. And seems to get the root of the problem. I was very surprised that
this solves also the throughput inside the VM. Because I could reproduce it
inside a VM I thought it was hardware independent.

Any idea how to proceed with this bug?
